Currently seeking to gain additional experience in the web development, software engineering and AI industries. Professional Experience

Assistant Language Teacher – Kure Board of Education

27th November 2021 to present

During my time as an ALT in Japan I learnt many non-technical skills inside and outside of work such as, a basic understanding of Japanese, learning to live in a country with a different culture and language to my own and teaching students English through meaningful lessons.

  • Taught English to Japanese students ranging from elementary school to junior high school
  • Lived in Japan for over a year and learnt basic Japanese
  • Used English in AI lessons to get students interested in programming
  • Adapted to a constantly changing schedule and fluctuating English levels between, schools, grades and classes
  • Wrote articles in the local paper and participated in cultural events

Junior Software Engineer – Celaton

15th July 2019 to 12th November 2021

Celaton is a leading AI company based in Milton Keynes providing services to the likes of Currys/PC World, Virgin Trains, LNER, Sony and Kouni Travel

  • Supporting AWS Migrations by refactoring core code bases and creating tools to ease migration
  • Debugged and tested various core components of the AI and fixed and subsequent bugs found
  • Developed file syncing systems for fast movement of files from network to network
  • Developed Python APIs for web-based client facing systems
  • Helped development of an MFA system for clients
  • Gained knowledge of the industry and the C# language

My Hobbies
